A Relaxing Bath for a Healthier Skin
For Dry, Oily or Problem skin
It is not yet the end of September and already the benefits of vacations, warm sunny days and time off has vanished. With Christmas around the corner we are already tired, stress. Our healthy summer is already gone and our skin is looking dull.
The skin is the largest organ in the body as well as the most sensitive. It reacts when we are stressed: break out, exzema or acne can be the result of to much stress in our life. So this week I thought of a nice recipe for a relaxing bath.
What you need
4 cups powdered milk - 1 cup boiled water - 1/2 cup dried chamomile or 5 chamomile tea bags. If you have very dry skin, you can add an extra cup of powder milk under the running water.
Directions
Steep chamomile in water for 20 minutes Strain liquid. Mix liquid with milk and add to bath water. Especially nice after a long day.
If you have very dry skin, add an extra cup of powder milk under the running water.
You can also put some dry camomille flowers directly into your bath. The smell will be release with the bath warm water and will help you relax even more.
During your bath, toxins will come out through the pores. Once you are done, rinse your body throughly with a luke warm shower
Benefits
Milk contains lactic acids (cleanser) and beta hydroxy acid (exfoliant). Nourrishing and soothing for dry skin, milk also benefit oily skin, removing black heads and old cells.
It has been use for centuries to nourrish and keep the skin young looking. (Remember Cleopatra's legendary milk baths?)
Chamomille soothe the skin and relax the body. More about the benefits of chamomille
