Honey is an amazing natural product. In ancient Greece, it was called the food of the Gods. Most of us use it internally and eat it on toast or as a substitute for sugar in hot drinks and desserts.

You can also use it to make natural a natural face mask. Particularly beneficial to oily skin, honey will also restore mositure to dry skin

Face Mask for Oily Skin

4 oz of Parsley - 2 teaspoon of Honey at room temperature (organic or as natural as possible)

In a blender chopped your parsley really thin and mix it with the honey really well. Apply on your face and leave it for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Parsley is a great antioxidants wih a lot of vitamin C and a natural antiseptic.

Face Mask for Dry Skin

One  ingredient that would complement honey for a dry skin would be avocado.

Avocado is rich in essential fatty acids and help rebalance the natural moisture of a dry skin.

Half Avocado mashed for 2 tsp of Honey.

Mix really well together an apply on the face. Leave the mask on for 20 to 30 minutes and rince with warm water.This recipe is best made just before you use it to retain all the healing properties of the avocado.

The other half can be eaten in a nice salad or kept in the fridge.
