Beauty is Subjective but We all Want to be Beautiful

Each of us wants to see someone we think is attractive looking back at us in the mirror. But the keyword here is “we think is attractive”. This is so subjective to media pressure, fashion and society in general. In the name of beauty we are willing to take the risk to put stuff on our skin that we do not even know what they are. Just because an ad made some promises it does not mean it is the right cream or cleanser for you and your skin. The same way we choose our food, it is time we choose our cosmetics and do not buy into peer pressure.

However who wants to see reflection with wrinkles, dull skin, rashes or pimples? No one! Unfortunatly not everyone is blessed with healthy, vibrant skin. And at some point we are all aging.

May be it is true that beauty is from within and this were we have to look for it. How about looking in a mirror and seing the reflection of someone you like for her kindness, loving, generosity, enthousiasm …. is that what is beauty about?

You tell me what you think.
